Support for OE sound systems

The Z-E2065 is compatible with all known OE active sound systems. It supports the 8-channel standard system, the 10-channel sound system and the 10-channel variant with DSP functions. The connection is made with an optimal signal-to-noise ratio.

Various EQ presets

With the 16-band graphic equalizer you can manually tune the sound exactly to the characteristics of your vehicle, or to your personal preferences. You can also select one of the seven predefined EQ profiles to optimize the sound reproduction.

5-CH time alignment

The Z-E2065 features an independently adjustable time alignment function for all 5 channels, to optimize the stereo image and staging. The delay for each channel can be adjusted in both centimeters or in milliseconds with up to 20 mS.

DSP active crossover

The Z-E2065 has a DSP-based active crossover with selectable 12 dB and 24 dB/oct. slopes. The selectable high-pass crossover frequencies for the front and rear channels are: 32/40/50/63/80/100/125/160 Hz. The low-pass crossover frequency and slope are set in the subwoofer setup.

Subwoofer audio setup menu

Active subwoofers or subwoofer amps can be integrated into a system concept by the Subwoofer setup menu. Selectable x-over frequencies, 12 dB or 24 dB/oct. low-pass slope steepness, as well as gain and phase can be adjusted for best bass signal management of connected external subwoofer components.

Cockpit realtime car data

Actual vehicle data such as level of fuel tank in liters, battery voltage in volts or the outside temperature in degrees Celsius are shown on the display of the Z-E2065. In addition, you can see, whether the driver and front passenger wear their seat belts or if the parking brake is engaged.

Camera system integration

The Z-E2065 supports the connection of one camera system, including integration of an OE cam system with guide lines that align with the dynamic steering rack angle. The camera image comes up automatically when the reverse gear is engaged.

Vehicle status info

An optional pop-up menu displays the status of the vehicle or its sensors and warns of open doors or open trunk lid/ bonnet. In addition, the status of the vehicle lighting, e.g. the front headlight, is shown.
